This website is operated by BuxtonHotel LLC ("The Caldwell," "we," "us"), which owns and operates The Caldwell, located inside The Buxton Hotel at 914 S College Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
Who can use this website
You're welcome to browse this site at any age. If you submit an RSVP, event inquiry, or any other form, you must be 18 or older.
The Caldwell serves alcohol, and portions of this website describe alcoholic beverages. Nothing on this site is intended to encourage anyone under 21 to purchase or consume alcohol.
What this website is
This site exists to share information about The Caldwell — our menus, hours, events, and space. It's informational, and information changes.
Menus, prices, hours, event dates, entertainment, and available spaces are all subject to change without notice. Nothing on this website is an offer, a guarantee of availability, or a binding contract. We may change, update, or discontinue any part of this website, and any of our offerings, at any time.
Menu and dietary information
We take food seriously, which means being straight with you about this: our menu changes often, our specials change constantly, and dishes are prepared in a shared kitchen where allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, soy, shellfish, and eggs are present. We cannot guarantee that any item is free of a given allergen, and menu descriptions on this website may not reflect what's on the menu today.
If you have a food allergy, dietary restriction, or medical dietary need, please tell your server or a manager in person before ordering. Don't rely on this website. We'd much rather have the conversation than guess.
Event RSVPs and inquiries
Submitting an RSVP or an inquiry through this website tells us you're interested — it isn't a confirmed reservation, a table hold, or a booking. A reservation exists only when we confirm it directly with you.
Private events and buyouts are governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties. If anything in that agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement controls.
Links to other websites
This site may link to other websites we don't control, including hotel reservation platforms, ticketing services, and social media. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we're not responsible for their content, accuracy, or how they handle your information. Hotel room reservations, in particular, are handled through a third-party booking platform governed by that platform's terms.
Being here in person
"Be Thoughtful · Be Kind · Be Xtra" isn't just something we put on a wall — it's the house standard, and it applies to guests as much as to us.
We reserve the right to refuse service or ask anyone to leave, at our discretion, including for intoxication, harassment of guests or staff, inability to produce valid identification, or conduct that makes this a worse room for everyone else. Colorado law requires valid government-issued ID for anyone purchasing alcohol, and we enforce that without exception. Guests under 21 are welcome in accordance with Colorado law and our house policy, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Service animals are welcome. Pets are welcome throughout the property, but not in The Caldwell or the pool area.
Photography on the premises
The Caldwell is a public space where photography happens — by guests, by our team, by event photographers, and in our photo booth. By entering, you understand that you may appear in photographs or video taken in the space.
If we intend to use a photograph in which you're identifiable for marketing or promotional purposes, we'll ask for your written permission first. If you'd prefer not to be photographed at all, tell a manager and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Intellectual property
The content on this website — including text, photographs, video, graphics, layout, menus, logos, and the names "The Caldwell" and "The Buxton" — is owned by BuxtonHotel LLC or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
You're welcome to view and share this site, and to repost our social content with credit. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or use our content for commercial purposes, or use our names, logos, or brand marks, without our written permission.
Things you send us
If you send us feedback, ideas, suggestions, photos, or messages, you're giving us permission to use them in operating and promoting The Caldwell, without payment or credit unless we agree otherwise in writing. Please don't send us anything you consider confidential, and don't send us anything you don't have the right to share.
No warranties
This website is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we can't promise it's free of errors, always available, or complete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, BuxtonHotel LLC and its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or your reliance on information found here. Our total liability for any claim relating to this website is limited to $100.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to this website or these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Larimer County, Colorado, and you agree to that venue.
